Quick answersDo I need an API key to use Print Studio?
Yes. Right now Print Studio uses Claude, and you add your own Anthropic API key. It's encrypted on the server and only used to send your design requests to Anthropic. You can remove it in the app at any time. More AI providers are coming soon.
What file format do I get?
A print-ready 3MF file. 3MF is a standard 3D printing format that keeps your part together with its settings in one file.
Which slicers and printers does it work with?
The 3MF is made for Bambu Studio and opens straight in it. Other slicers that open 3MF files can generally open it too; you then slice and print as usual for your printer.
Do I need to know CAD?
No. You describe the part in plain words, or add photos, and the AI drafts the first design. You then adjust the dimensions in the dashboard instead of modelling from scratch.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign in with email or Google so your designs, versions and notes are saved. Your designs are private to your account. See the Print Studio privacy page for what's stored.
Can I share my designs with other people?
A community page for sharing designs is coming soon. For now, designs live in your own account.
